Snowy Day

Boat on the River in the Snow

Boat on the Essex River

We’re having a snow day here in my neck of the woods. Everything was so peaceful and pretty that I decided to go out and snap some pictures.

Gorgeous photos, Sassy.
Today looks so peaceful over in New England; in Old England we're having eighty mile an hour winds and solid rain.
Wanna swap?

Nope. I do not swap the weather, and I do not swap how you might be feeling around now. Just read the post. Nicely done.

I'm glad you like the photos. I like them too.

The weather in the NorthLand has been snowing non-stop since about midnight. We are expecting about 10 inches of snow on top of the rain we had yesterday.

This weekend will be spent indoors, thankyouverymuch!

Sounds like a great weekend. Hope you have lots of books, and minimal head damage.

Wow, you are all experiencing definable weather drama. Here, in Ohio, it's plain old 50 degrees and kind of sunny. Same thing tomorrow--very unseasonable for almost January.

Great pictures Sassy.

Looking out me windy I can see that Scotland is very wet as usual, nice pictures, made me feel cold.

Oh, it wasn't all dramatic. There's maybe an inch out there. Enough to make everything pretty, but not enough to be a pain.

Up until now, it hasn't seemed like winter at all. It's been confusing. But now there's ice on my windows, and a bit of snow outside. The sun's shining, and the sky is that brilliant January blue. It is a stunner of a morning.

"Stunner of a morning"?
Yikes! The sun's going down here already, so as it's the 31st …

HAPPY NEW YEAR SASSY!
