Robyn, Robyn, the giver of tasks. In her latest assignment she asked us to think about what we would do if we took the other fork in the road, just this one time. Where would we go? Right now I have enough “what ifs” in my life that entertaining them doesn't seem like a healthy idea. In lieu of completing the assignment in writing, I thought that I would share my thoughts via my refrigerator.
Here is my fridge

dear friend—inside it says “Love Hurts”—how true)
Here is a close-up of one magnet
That's where I'm at

Hey Sassy. I like this post. It puts a thoughtful spin on the "fork in the road" thing--and it's always good to know when certain thought trails aren't healthy.
You have a photo of Hunter S Thompson on your fridge?
Curiouser and curiouser …
Robyn, one of these days I'll do it for real (though I'm afraid I always was a bit of a renegade in the assignment department).
And, speaking of renegades, Dive, yes, I have a photo(copy) of Hunter S. Thompson on my fridge. I don't like everything he wrote/did (speaking of things healthy), but I admire the way he just went ahead and lived his life and wrote his mind, not worrying about what others thougth.
(uh oh... is dive stealing my catch-phrases?)
anyway... sassy, maybe not knowing where the hell we are (like the magnet) is one of the main components pushing us to figure it out.
when I was learning to drive, my mom would take me to a part of town I wasn't familiar with, put me behind the wheel and give me a destination to find. it wasn't very fun, but I learned.
maybe it's all about setting One Big Goal for our lives and then forking around trying to get there.
Yeah, goal setting. Not too good at that. Very into detours.
My hororscope for today:
Major movements are happening in your life today -- and just as when tectonic plates shift, these changes could create quite an earthquake. But instead of running for cover, you should head right out into the open -- so you can be the first person to take in the new landscape. New ideas are forming just under the surface, and you are in a perfect frame of mind to wait until they emerge, and then to take advantage of your new environment.
Yeah... Just what I need. More earthquakes
